Three years ago, Bellamy's kindom Eboria came under attack from a rival leader. Bellamy decided she would fight for her people, and began training.
She trained hard and became a promising fighter. In the middle of combat, she came into contact with her childhood best friend, whom she hadn’t seen in several years, and she discovered they were fighting for the opposite side. They exchange some heated words and blows, but she lost sight of them in the commotion of the battle.
After months of fighting, the battle was over, and Eboria had been conquered. Devastated by what had happened to her home and family, and not wanting to live under the new ruler, she decided that enough was enough, and left her home.
But before she said goodbye, she went to find her old friend to see if they would come with her. After begging and pleading with them and trying to get them to come around to her way of thinking, she wasn’t getting anywhere, and she had to go off alone.
For the last year, she's been on the road traveling, making friends with all walks of life, sharing stories, laughs, and occasionally a handmade trinket.
The Phantom takes the form of Bellamy's old friend, reminding her of the guilt she feels over not being able to convince her friend to leave their war-torn kingdom with her.
