Summary
Io was once a city ruled by fear.
It tells stories of a dark age when monsters ruled its streets and the people lived in fear. It tells of Deadlight, the greatest threat the city ever faced, and of those who rose to stop him. Together, they brought him down, and a new order was born.
Deadlight Tower was raised in the aftermath - as a reminder, but also as a symbol of the city’s hope. The Arcane Order was formed to protect the civilians, and those who opposed the new ways were driven into the shadows.
But peace never lasts long. Two of the Order’s captains, Lodestar and Redline, were found murdered in one of Io’s subway stations. You have been framed for the crime, and the only way to clear your names is to find the real killer.
But beware - in Io, nothing ever truly stays dead.
